Get ready to have fun at this year’s Prom.  Get a date or bring a friend. Buy your “BOARDING PASS” to “A Flight to Remember” on Saturday, April 8, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley.

The event will be held in the Air Force One pavilion.

Cost for a ticket is $80 with an ASB card, $85 without, and $3 extra for a guest pass. Guest passes require a photocopy of the wanted guest’s ID card.

Prices are going to go up on April 3-7 during the week of prom. The school is offering one luxury bus for $15, but if you choose not to take the bus they are requiring you to give your form of transportation to Mr. Brett Zielsdorf.

Many of the students at Channel Islands are excited for this year’s prom.

Angeline Caesar, a junior, was very happy with the way she got asked to Prom by boyfriend Wayne De Los Santos. She got asked with a CD mixed with all her favorite songs and now she is ready to go to prom with her dark navy blue dress.

Caesar is not sure if she will go to dinner before prom but she said, “If I did, I would go eat anywhere in the Collection.”

Another student at Channel Islands, Maria Hernandez is waiting to be asked to prom. She would love to be asked with pink carnations with Lana Del Rey’s music playing.

“My friends and I are going to eat at Gen at the Collection before prom,” Hernandez said.
