Football season getting closer and closer!

Ladies and gentlemen football season is getting closer and closer.  Returning players are getting pumped up and so far have been working hard!

Junior Ralph Navarro feels pretty confident in his team. “I trust my coaches to give us the best coaching possible to prepare us for every game,” said Navarro.

Another player that is excited to play is Peter Rivera.  What he looks forward to is being able to be with his second family. “I think if we all put our talents to good use and learn how to work with each other, we’ll do great.” said Rivera

Season hasn’t started but since its spring football coach Porter so far likes the attitude and effort from the players. “Hard work trumps talent, so we are preparing for a successful 2015 campaign at all levels.” Coach added. Mr. Porter is really excited about the effort and process that players have made over the first two weeks, although he says that they’re going to need players to fill key positions, and with that he will feel fully confident in their ability.

Rumors and speculations have been going around that some players are planning on transferring school but yet haven’t notified Coach Porter. “My biggest concern is how it affects the players who are trying to build something special. Nothing changes for us. Team extends beyond the lines on the football field. There is a special bond that is built. We call it family,” said Mr. Porter.

With CI’s school spirit those bleachers will still be packed once season is here!
