Summer Movies Previews

 

If you have a lot of free time or don’t know what to do during the summer, then go watch a movie. There are many different movies coming out this summer.

Jurassic World (June 12)

Twenty-two years later, the dinosaur island theme park that they were developing in the original 1993 film finally opened, but becomes deadly when the dinosaurs and a genetically engineered T-Rex rampage through the park causing all the people at the theme park to run for their lives. The movie stars Chris Pratt as Owen Gray, an ex- military living on the island also Vilociraptor trainer and Bryce Dallas Howard who plays Claire Dearing, the park manager and introduces the genetically modified dino to boost the attendance at the park.

Minions (July 10)

From the movie Despicable Me, brings you a movie all about those crazy yellow creatures. Minions live to serve since the dawn of time, but they always worked for unsuccessful bosses. The minions fall into a deep depression until three minions go on a journey to find a new evil boss to follow. Scarlett Overkill voiced by Sandra Bullock, becomes their new boss and the first ever super-villainess.

Inside Out (June 19)

A new Disney Pixar animated movie about emotions. The movie is centered around an 11 years-old girl who moves to San Francisco and her emotions who are led by Joy, are helping her get through the life-changing event. Then Joy and Sadness have to go to the far reaches of Riley’s mind and Anger, Fear, and Disgust are left at the Headquarters.

Ant Man (July 17)

 Ant Man stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a con-man in jail turned superhero to help his mentor protect the secret of his Ant Man suit. Ant Man’s suit has the power to shrink and when he does he becomes stronger. He must fight his enemy Yellowjacket and save the world.

Paper Towns (July 24)

The author of the popular book The Fault in Our Stars, then hit movie, John Green, has another of his books turning into a movie. Quentin played by Nat Wolff and his neighbor Margo played by Cara Delevingne has a mischievous night , but the next day Margo is nowhere to be found. Quentin and his friends set out a road trip to find Margo.

Pixels (July 24)

Aliens thought Earth declared war on them when they misinterpreted video feeds of classic arcade games so they attack Earth by using the games as dangerous weapons. President Will Cooper recruits his childhood pal who is a former video game champ to lead a team of old-school arcade players to save the planet. It stars many actors such as Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, and Ashley Benson.
