Favela has a message for his fellow students: “Remember your past, your roots, they are what has shaped you into the person you are; acknowledge the future, it’s important to keep looking ahead of the road, ready to cease whatever new opportunities and experiences may come; and most importantly, thrive in the present, a foolish person is one who spends too much time looking back at the ‘what ifs’ and worries too much about the future.”
