CI Coffee House is a new club at CI where Raiders can join and make music. They also can make art and poetry. It is a safe environment where students can go up and perform without feeling pressured. They can even dance if they’re into it!

The president of CI Coffee House is Nathalie Renteria and vice president Quinten Williams. Meetings are every Wednesday at lunch in room 62, Mr. Nick Schlesinger’s room.  In the meetings, group members organize events; the meetings last about 10 to 15 minutes or sometimes even the whole lunch.

Anyone can join. There are no requirements.

“(Forget) people’s expectations. Come be yourself at the CI Coffee House,” said Renteria

Currently there are seven members in the club. “I felt secure; I didn’t feel pressured,” said Josue Cruz, CI junior.  He is not a member of the club, but he did perform once.
